I find contact sheets a fascinating insight into the work of a photographer and Eisie was one of the best.

I think I’m going through a bit of a POLAROID phase…I’m not getting out much either with another garden inspired image. This one combines the old and new…second shot with DSLR

Polaroid 430 Automatic Land Camera & Sony A200 DSLR

Finished off a pack of FP-100c then promptly loaded a pack of FP-100c Silk. I’m not sure about the Silk finish but I had bought 2 packs of each to get me started with the Polaroid 430 Land Camera.

I’d bought them at 7dayshop.com, which used to be cheap but their prices have been creeping up…there’re not listing this film now anyhow.

So if anyone know where it’s going cheap, not the USA because of the horrific postal charges. I’d really like to try the FP-3000B too…that stuff looks cool :-)

Cool Polaroid 190 Land Camera… and image too!

“If you are looking for an RF packfilm camera, with the biggest aperture, this and the 195 is probably the only ones with a big aperture at f3.8, remember f3.8 might not be big or fast on your 35mm format, but it’s a big deal on a larger format,” says Mijonju.

I’ve taken the opportunity to use my Polaroid 430 Land Camera in the garden this weekend. Here are two images taken about 12 hours apart…the first, in the evening and the second in the morning

It’s easy to see how the quality and intensity of light has created images of the same tree, but with very different feel.

I’m not sure what happened to the second shot but suspect that not enough developer reached that corner…

I love the results that the Polaroid Automatic 430 Land Camera can give. I find exposures a bit ‘hit and miss’ at the moment, but I suspect I will get used to it’s little ways :-)

I must find some more ‘willing’ subjects to photograph…
